Painted Mason Jars

The overall simplicity and beauty of this DIY is what makes it my favorite. Painted mason jars are perfect for any occasion and are very inexpensive gifts. All you need is a jar and acrylic paint. There is a lot of leeway here because you can choose any paint color, shape, and size for the jars with the same results.

Based on the size of the jar, pour some paint into the very bottom. Then swirl the paint around the jar. If you'd like it to be completely painted, swirl the paint until the whole jar is covered and then set the jar upside down, lifting it up and replacing it every 15 minutes until the excess paint is gone.
If you plan on only painting half the jar, make sure that you use as little paint as possible to help the bottom dry and prevent cracking.
It's as simple as that! Have fun!
